It’s not that I don’t like Dany, I’m just not as big a fan as most people are. I think she’s strong and determined and has the best intentions but doesn’t know how to go about achieving what she wants. I love that she freed slaves, I love that she doesn’t let anyone talk down on her because she’s a woman, and I love that she sacrifices her own wants for what others need. But she doesn’t know how to own up to her mistakes or face them.

I don’t want her to rule Westeros because she still has so much to learn, and the fact that she has dragons just works against her rather than for her. Ruling by making people fear you is obviously not a good way to go about things, and I can’t see anyone respecting her for her right to the throne. She seems to overlook her father’s madness and only see her entitlement to take what is “hers”, and she has a tendency to only want to see what she wants to see - she only accepts the truth that she likes.

I think she’s incredibly brave for all she’s had to go through in her short life already, but if she’s going to have a chance at ruling Westeros then she needs to remove her bias and try to understand the people she’s potentially going to be residing over. She’s so alienated from this world she wishes to take hold of.

This is only my opinion, and I have nothing against the people who like Dany. I love characters that other people can’t stand, and I know everyone in ASOIAF has flaws, my favourites included. It’s just harder for me to look past Dany’s flaws than others. I simply cannot relate to her or support her.

Thank you for such an interesting question! I love getting these.

My favourite by far is Margaery Tyrell. I love how they’ve expanded on her character. She’s strong and pragmatic and beautiful and intelligent and much everything I hope to be in life. I could write a whole meta on her but I won’t bore you to death.

My least favourite - not a fan of Talisa.

And the one I am most looking forward to - definitely Arianne.
